Nelson Mandela famously said that education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

The Students for a Better Future scholarship takes these words to heart, knowing that education is multifaceted. Unlike other scholarships, they do not just place underprivileged children in high school. The SBF team walks the journey with their scholars, from before they enter grade 8 all the way to after matric. The programme is multifaceted, including academic support, workshops, events and wellness resources to ensure that learners get holistically integrated in their high performing school environment.

Every year, the scholars receive a Yearbook, documenting the previous year’s events and achievements. In 2023, GAPdesign was tasked with assisting in compiling and designing this yearbook for 2022. Since then, we have created the yearbook annually, giving the scholars a tangible keepsake of their time with SBF.
